The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for the management and analysis of business information that supports commercial decision-making across the Asia Pacific region. Operating within a Global Business Services (GBS) delivery model, the role combines hands-on data management with the development of insightful dashboards and reporting, while serving as a trusted coordination point for internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate is analytically strong, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator who consistently delivers high-quality, reliable outcomes within established processes and governance frameworks. The scope of the role may evolve over time in line with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Information Management & Analytics
- Collect, consolidate, and validate business information from approved sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
- Resolve discrepancies, exceptions, and information gaps in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities to generate meaningful business insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical views to support decision-making.
- Enhance recurring reports for quality, usability, and effectiveness, and support reporting automation and process simplification.
Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Partner with external business partners and regional stakeholders on information requirements, issue resolution, and process adherence.
- Communicate requirements, exceptions, and follow-up actions clearly and professionally across multiple markets.
GBS Service Delivery & Continuous Improvement
- Deliver assigned activities within defined processes, controls, timelines, and service expectations.
- Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve operational processes.
- Maintain process documentation, support team knowledge-sharing, and recommend sustainable solutions for recurring operational issues.
Candidate Requirements:
- 4–6 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Commercial Operations, Business Analytics, or Sales Operations.
- Experience within a shared services, GBS, center of excellence, or regional operations environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing recurring analytical, reporting, or operational activities across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience supporting multiple countries, business units, or regional stakeholders, preferably within Asia Pacific.
Qualification and technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Analytics, Pharmacy or a related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification in Business, Analytics, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex information, identify trends, and challenge inconsistencies.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and quality.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or equivalent analytical tools.
- Experience with visualization and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar, with the ability to build clear dashboards and management-level visualizations.
- Exposure to Power Query, SQL, or other automation and data-processing technologies would be advantageous.
- Ability to convert analytical findings into concise, meaningful business insights.
