Meals Supervisor- Nights
Sunday to Thursday 22:00-06:00

As a Night Supervisor in Meals Department, you'll lead your team on the production line to deliver high standards of quality, safety and operational performance throughout the night shift.
This is a hands-on role where you'll motivate and develop your team to achieve production targets, maintain outstanding food quality and drive continuous improvement.
Working closely with colleagues across Production, Quality, Engineering and NPD you'll ensure operations run smoothly, efficiently and safely while promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.

Responsibilities
- Lead your team to deliver products right first time, meeting quality, productivity and plan attainment targets.
- Reduce waste and material giveaway through effective monitoring, control and training.
- Ensure all quality, production and SAP documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Drive continuous improvement, investigating issues and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, housekeeping and compliance with BRC requirements.
- Champion Health & Safety, reporting incidents, promoting safe working practices and participating in audits.
- Support 5S, allergen control and a clean-as-you-go culture across the department.
- Lead, motivate and develop team members through training, coaching, one-to-ones and return-to-work meetings.
- Manage labour resources effectively to achieve operational performance targets.
- Promote clear communication, teamwork and adherence to company policies and values.
- Support new product trials, improvement projects and environmental initiatives.
- Complete relevant training and contribute to the ongoing development of departmental processes and performance
- Cover the Shift Managers’ role during any absences
About you
Essential
- Experience in a production/ manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a team to shared goals and targets
- Have a Can-Do attitude
- Be passionate, motivated and willing to learn.
- Be able to make quick, reasoned decisions and then communicate these out to the team.
- Confidence with computers – training will be provided in specific software such as SAP and Microsoft Excel, but a basic familiarity is necessary.
- Feel comfortable with numbers, this role will require calculating how far ahead/behind a line is, how many labour hours were used during a production run, and the weight of ingredients remaining for a production run.
Desirable
- Previous experience leading & supporting a team.
- An understanding of a production line operation, preferably experience running one.
- Experience planning labour
