SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As a Project Sales Manager, you will drive sales growth by managing and developing relationships with key customers and accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and providing sales and technical support. The role focuses on achieving sales, gross margin, and customer satisfaction targets while strengthening Jotun's reputation as a preferred supplier of high-quality products and solutions.The role is based in Addis Ababa and reports to the Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
Drive market expansion and increase market share through market mapping, trend analysis, and competitor monitoring.
Lead, coach, and supervise the sales team to achieve sales, collection, and performance objectives in line with The Penguin Spirit.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand customer needs and ensure smooth operations.
Monitor and evaluate sales targets, collections, and team objectives, taking corrective actions when needed.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by visiting customers, contractors, consultants, and dealers to support projects and resolve issues.
Analyze sales and collection performance, conduct employee reviews, and develop a motivated, high-performing sales team through coaching and feedback.

What We Look For
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in project sales within construction materials, paints, coatings, building products, steel, cement, or related industries.
Additional Requirements
Strong network within the construction industry.
Proven track record of winning and managing large-scale projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to influence decision-makers at all organizational levels.
Language
Proficient in Amharic and English

Competitive compensation and benefits, with a gross annual salary ranging from 2,040,000 to 2,520,000, depending on experience.
