Description
Aerospace Electronics department designs and produces an extensive range of electronic controllers for aerospace and defense in actuators control domain.
For our Aerospace Electronics team we are looking for a FPGA Engineer. We are seeking a skilled and passionate FPGA engineer to develop and testing FPGA modules in next generation engine controllers and various avionics devices.
You will work on design of electronic devices able to drive medium and high-power electric motors and solenoids (control logic, inverter, power stage etc.) in aerospace applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer requirements and derive suitable solutions
- Design and debug software on device and device communication with other components
- Design of FPGA based SW solutions for aerospace controls and drivers
- Support the software architecture designing
- Cooperation with System, HW/SW Development and Platform Engineers within international teams
- Performing design, coding, unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, software integration
- Verification of VHDL IP Cores and VHDL modules
- Work on test scenarios and testbench stimuli input files
- Develop behavioral models of components
- Work on simulation scripts (Python, Tcl) and implementation of automated simulation runs
Key Skills:
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in electronics, software development or related.
- 4+ years of experience in related area.
- Software development or software verification experience.
- Experience in VHDL and/or Verilog design for different FPGAs: FPGA simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and debugging.
- Knowledge of Intel/Altera Cyclone V family, plus to know Xilinx FPGAs.
- Working knowledge of tools and development frameworks (Xilinx Vivado, MicroSemi Libero, ModelSim)
- English and Polish languages skills; able to explain technical topics to local operations.
DO-254/ED-80 and other aerospace standards will be advantage.
