This position reports to:
Production Supervisor__
Provide feedback and recommendations to management on production performance and operational improvements.
Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to supervise shift team’s progress against work plans as defined by Production management to ensure the proper use of machinery, equipment, and assembly lines within a production area. Each day, you will provide regular feedback and make recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line, including production line organization, shifting priorities, and possible critical situations. You will also showcase your expertise by cooperating with the unit supervisor to create an effective work environment and reinforcing production schedules and quality.
The work model for the role is: onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Supervise daily production operations and ensure execution of the production plan.
- Coordinate manpower and resources to meet production requirements.
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
- Lead the team in resolving production, technical, quality, and logistics issues during the shift.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and the code of conduct.
- Coach and support team members to promote teamwork, capability development, and continuous improvement
- Provide feedback and recommendations to management on production performance and operational improvements.
Qualifications for the role
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- At least 1 year of team leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Good understanding of production processes, safety, quality, and continuous improvement principles.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting tools.
