Join Nilfisk as an NPI Project Manager

Major Function
As a Project Manager, New Product Introduction, you will represent the Nagykanizsa manufacturing facility in global product development projects and lead all factory-related activities required for successful product launches. You will work closely with engineering, operations, production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure a smooth transition from product development to serial production.
Your focus will be on ensuring manufacturing readiness, coordinating resources, mitigating industrialization risks, and driving Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Responsibilities
- Represent the Nagykanizsa manufacturing facility in global cross-functional project teams.
- Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) activities to support efficient and cost-effective production.
- Ensure readiness for prototype, pilot, and serial production builds.
- Coordinate factory resources and stakeholders to secure successful product introductions.
- Monitor project milestones, risks, budgets, and resource requirements, providing clear communication to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and mitigate industrialization risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Capture and implement lessons learned to strengthen future product introduction projects.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes and project execution.
Your New Team
You will become part of an experienced and collaborative team responsible for industrialization and new product introduction activities at the Nagykanizsa facility. The team works closely with colleagues across manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and global project organizations.

Qualifications to Succeed in the Position
You are a structured and collaborative professional who enjoys working across functions and driving projects from concept to production.
To succeed in this role, you will likely bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record in managing projects within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting successful new product introductions or product launches.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ideally within industries such as electronics, industrial products, or injection moulding.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Fluency in Hungarian and English.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- A proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
