About the Opportunity:
Ericsson is seeking a People Specialist Intern to join an outstanding People Team and gain hands-on experience supporting the employee lifecycle, HR operations, workforce transitions, compliance activities, and People Business Partner support. This is an exciting opportunity for a master’s-level student who wants to develop their HR foundation, learn how People teams support employees, business leaders, and help elevate the employee experience in a fast-moving, global organization. The role will also provide exposure to the People Business Partner role, including how PBPs collaborate with the business, support organizational change, and help leaders navigate people priorities with care, consistency, and strong operational discipline. This is a Summer 2027 internship position, with potential to extend into the school year with a flexible schedule.

What You Will Do:
- Support key employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding-related coordination, employee data updates, workforce transitions, and offboarding support.
- Assist with HR systems, reporting, and people data requests to help the team maintain accurate records and provide useful insights to stakeholders.
- Help support People programs, compliance activities, and recurring team processes while learning how HR operations enable the business.
- Collaborate with People Business Partners and People Specialists on employee questions, manager support, process guidance, and special projects.
- Use AI-enabled tools (like Copilot) to bring new ideas to everyday work, identify opportunities to simplify tactical processes, streamline routine activities, summarize information, and create practical insights that improve team efficiency and support People Team stakeholders.
- Gain exposure to organizational change, workforce planning, and the People Business Partner role through hands-on work with a collaborative People Team.
The skills you bring:
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in human resources, business, industrial-organizational psychology, organizational development, communications, data analytics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, workforce transitions, People Business Partnering, and employee experience.
- Excellent communication, judgment, discretion, and follow-through, with the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to review data, identify themes, summarize insights, and support reporting needs.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, recurring activities, and time-sensitive deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with HR systems, Power BI, or data reporting tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools responsibly and practically to support research, analysis, process improvement, communication, and productivity.
- Curiosity, initiative, collaboration, and a desire to develop as part of a team that enables business outcomes and supports leaders through everyday operations and moments of change.
- 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
- Available for a full-time internship for 12 week
- Actively enrolled in an accredited Masters on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the internship
