Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Finish Carpenters for projects located in the Eugene, OR area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30-38/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Install and adjust cabinets, vanities, and built-in shelving
- Measure, cut, and install baseboards, crown molding, casing, wainscoting, and other trim
- Hang, level, and trim doors and windows
- Perform finish carpentry on restoration and remodeling projects
- Perform rough carpentry and framing as needed
- Complete restoration, remodeling, and reconstruction work
- Read and work from blueprints and project plans
- Calculate material and supply requirements
- Safely operate carpentry hand and power tools
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Communicate project requirements and progress with the team
- Maintain a high standard of quality and craftsmanship
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience
- Strong finish carpentry experience
- Must pass a drug screen, and background check
- Well-rounded residential construction knowledge
- Experience with cabinets, doors, windows, trim, and molding
- Ability and willingness to perform occasional rough carpentry
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and project plans
- Knowledge of building codes, trade sequencing, and construction best practices
- Strong attention to detail and finish quality
