Job Summary
The Manager, Clinical Systems is responsible for leading a team of SAS Programmers and ensuring the successful delivery of clinical data programming activities across multiple studies. This role provides technical leadership, people management, resource planning, quality oversight, and client support while driving operational excellence and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SAS Programmers.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of programming activities across clinical studies.
Provide technical expertise and guidance in SAS programming and clinical data standards.
Manage team performance, resource allocation, utilization, and career development.
Ensure high-quality deliverables that meet timelines, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support client interactions.
Drive process improvements, operational excellence, and compliance with company standards.
Identify and mitigate project risks while supporting issue resolution and escalation management.
Experience
Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience in SAS Programming within the clinical research/pharmaceutical industry.
2+ years of people management experience, including leading, mentoring, and developing programming teams.
Proven experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
