Your role:
Ensure the technically flawless execution of complex commissioning (IBS) tasks and develop solutions for the most challenging technical issues, both in Oberkochen and at customer sites
Analyze complex and potentially novel malfunctions and disturbances
Define corrective actions for complex problems, taking into account both hardware and software interfaces
Coordinate commissioning and service dates with project management, sales, and the customer, and monitor adherence to these timelines
Prepare, adapt, and create all technical documentation, as well as define spare parts lists
Plan and conduct trainings and provide technical support in German or English, both remotely and on-site
Actively define serviceability in development projects for new products and track its implementation throughout the development process
Your profile:
You have completed a technical college degree (Techniker), including relevant professional experience, or you hold a successfully completed university of applied sciences degree in mechatronics/mechanical engineering, a natural science, or an engineering discipline
You have several years of relevant professional experience – service experience with automated systems, electron or ion beam systems is an advantage. In addition, you enjoy working in multinational teams and have experience in customer management and in handling the escalation of issues, as well as a strong service and customer orientation and experience dealing with demanding customers
You have very good English skills, both spoken and written, and are willing to travel worldwide with a travel share of up to 50%
You possess a high level of communication, teamwork, and assertiveness, as well as a pronounced hands-on mentality
