Role summary:The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, HVAC, is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and related equipment to ensure optimal facility operations. This role involves configuring control systems, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. The technician collaborates with management and facility teams to support operational needs, adheres to safety and regulatory standards, and maintains accurate documentation. Effective communication and the ability to manage work assignments using digital tools are essential to support service delivery and continuous improvement within assigned locations.

What you'll do:
- Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC systems, ductwork, and control components according to technical documentation and codes.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control issues affecting HVAC and facility systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal system operation and reduce downtime.
- Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely while adhering to company and regulatory safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, parts usage, and service activities.
- Communicate effectively with facility operators and partners regarding service needs and status.
- Manage work assignments using digital tools and participate in on-call rotations as required.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance, including rooftop units and controls.
- EPA 608 Technician Certification and relevant HVAC certifications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics, layout plans, and documentation accurately.
- Knowledge of building automation systems and direct digital controls.
- Commitment to safety standards, including OSHA compliance and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with facility operators and team members.
- Capability to manage work assignments using digital tools and scheduling systems.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.
Vocational or technical HVAC certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC and building controls.Option 1: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical, plumbing, material handling- equipment, or related trades.
Option 2: 2 years’ store experience.
Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.
Valid EPA Section 608 Certification for the handling and servicing of refrigerants.• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
