CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY: Special Education Teacher (1099 Independent Contractor)

COMPENSATION
- Competitive contract rates commensurate with experience, paid per agreed terms.
- Engagement contingent on a background check clearing you to work in public school settings.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
- Provide specially designed instruction to students with IEPs in assigned placements
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs for an assigned caseload
- Assess student performance, track progress, and use data to inform instruction
- Deliver small-group instruction for academically at-risk students
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators on student progress
- Support student transitions between grades and toward graduation
- Facilitate or participate in ARD committee meetings
- Maintain accurate records and documentation meeting district and state requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution
- Valid Texas certification in Special Education and applicable content area
- Prior experience in a special education classroom setting
PRACTICAL NOTES
- Assignments follow the calendar and schedule of the assigned campus
- Possible district-wide travel; physical demands include standing, lifting, and carrying materials
