CDL-A Heavy Equipment Operator – Taneytown, MD
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Starting Pay: $26.00/hour; higher depending on experience
Position Summary
We are seeking a CDL-A Heavy Equipment Operator to join a field team responsible for equipment transportation, heavy machinery operations, and time-sensitive recovery projects. This is an active, hands-on role for someone who can safely operate equipment, assist with fieldwork, and adapt to changing assignments.
Candidates should be comfortable with commercial driving, physical labor, equipment maintenance, and an on-call schedule.

40 hours guaranteed per week.Average of 60 or more hours per week, with additional overtime as needed.On-call availability 24/7, including weekends and holidays.Time-and-a-half for hours outside Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m., under the stated pay arrangement.Per diem, hotel reimbursement, and layover pay for qualifying travel assignments.Full-time direct-hire opportunity with company benefits and applicable travel compensation.
