The Opportunity

As an Amazon Web Services, Cloud Infrastructure Experienced Associate you will support the design and delivery of cloud and network architecture work within our Advisory practice, contributing to client-focused technology solutions that help improve connectivity, security, and platform performance. As a Associate you will learn from experienced team members, adapt to changing client needs, ask thoughtful questions, and take ownership of assigned work while developing your skills in a fast-paced environment. In this role at PwC, you will help with cloud infrastructure tasks, apply knowledge of Amazon Web Services and other cloud platforms, contribute to troubleshooting and deployment activities, and build familiarity with technology standards, team expectations, and client service in support of broader project goals.

As an Experienced Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful connections, manage projects, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. You will embrace ambiguity, ask questions, and use these challenges as opportunities for growth.

In this role, you will be part of the Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network, designing and building cloud platforms and data architectures to enable insight-driven decision-making. You will assist businesses in designing scalable and secure technology platforms, enabling digital transformation and innovation. This is an opportunity to develop your skills in cloud infrastructure architecture design and cloud virtualization, contributing to the success of our clients.

Responsibilities

- Supporting cloud infrastructure design and deployment activities for client technology environments

- Assisting in the implementation of Amazon Web Services solutions across compute, storage, networking, and virtualization services

- Configuring and troubleshooting cloud network components, firewalls, routing, and connectivity issues

- Contributing to cloud migration, platform integration, and infrastructure upgrade efforts

- Collaborating on network design, deployment, and operational support for secure and scalable environments

- Using cloud monitoring and troubleshooting tools to identify performance issues and support resolution efforts

- Documenting technical findings, implementation steps, and service updates for project teams and client stakeholders

- Applying platform engineering, IT operations, and infrastructure management concepts to deliver dependable support

- Learning and applying architecture frameworks, service management practices, and cloud deployment methods in client-facing work

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree

- At least 1 year of experience hands-on with AWS core services in a production or client environment

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering

- At least one of the following: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate

- Master's of Science or an MBA is preferred

- Working with containerized workloads using Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, or AWS Fargate

- Monitoring applications and infrastructure using Amazon CloudWatch and third-party tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or Grafana

- Using managed database services including Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, and Amazon DynamoDB

- Applying AI-assisted development tools such as Amazon Q Developer, Amazon Kiro, Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, with disciplined review of generated code and infrastructure-as-code

- Demonstrating AWS cloud infrastructure skills through coursework or internships

- Supporting cloud networking, virtualization, or platform troubleshooting tasks

- Applying active listening, communication, and teamwork in client settings

- Learning AWS deployment tools and adapting to fast-paced project work

The salary range for this position is: $63,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
