Description
Our client is seeking a Disaster Recovery Programmer Support Consultant to support critical disaster recovery operations and system enhancements. This role combines hands-on development, testing, and documentation management to ensure robust recovery capabilities across enterprise systems.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Develop, test, and maintain API codebases; identify and resolve bugs in production and development environments
- Create and enhance reporting features; execute general ad hoc reporting and monthly metrics on disaster recovery test management
- Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery test documentation; manage DR test day execution and coordinate with DevOps team
- Review, enhance, and track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs); document issues discovered during testing cycles
- Script and enhance recovery plan creation procedures; improve and automate Fusion planning processes
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; work collaboratively in a team environment
Requirements
- 8–10 years of professional experience in software development or related technical roles
- JavaScript proficiency (minimum 1–2 years); hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and Visual Studio Code
- Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP API development and integration
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create clear technical documentation
- W2 employment status required; onsite interview mandatory
