- 1,100 to 1,700 miles a week
- Weekly direct deposit
Your week
Local container moves out of the Avenel yard. Drop and hook, live loads and preloads. Day and night shifts available. Home daily.
New CDL? Here is the path
- Call: we check your license and record with you first. No surprises later.
- Orientation: up to 2 days, hotel covered, bus fare reimbursed, $300 once hired.
- Training: 4 to 6 weeks one-on-one with a mentor, paid $650 a week.
- Solo: you run local container moves on your own and go home every night.
Nervous about your first driving job? Fair.
- "How often will I see home?" Every day.
- "Does my CDL school count?" If it was 120 hours or more, yes.
- "I am not good at backing yet." Nobody is on day one. You practice for weeks with a mentor beside you before you drive alone.
- "Will one ticket disqualify me?" Not by itself. Up to 2 moving violations in the past 2 years is accepted.
What you need
- Class A CDL from your state of residence, 21 or older
- New CDL grad with 120+ school hours, or 6 months of recent experience
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
- No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years
- DOT physical and hair and urine drug screen
Benefits after 30 days
- Medical, dental, vision and prescription
- 401(k) and employee stock purchase plan
- Paid time off and yearly raises
- Free online degree for you and one family member
