Main Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Job Role
Directly supervises Product Support Sales Reps & Service Branch Managers within their assigned territory. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Duties include appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems in a timely manner.
Strengthening relationships both internally and externally while expanding the customer base across specific accounts, products, and industries. This may include delivering formal presentations to business owners and key decision-makers. Conducts regular progress reviews to ensure alignment with company goals for Parts and Service Sales.
Develops Service and Parts sales budgets for Territory service/sales force. Ensuring that company goals and objectives are met. Responsible for the profitable and sustainable operation of the service department while maintaining the objectives of the company vision and mission.
Supports the development of budgets and plans for efficient use of buildings, materials, equipment, and personnel. Reviews revenues, costs, and accounts receivables to evaluate performance of the organization in meeting objectives and determining enhancements to profitable operation.
Works closely with Caterpillar Representatives, keeping in tune with current initiatives and utilizing all applicable Commercial Programs available.
Confers with VP Service Operations & Product Support and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Formal Education: High School diploma or GED
Experience: 5-6 Years
Required / Credentials
Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers in the English language.
5 years of experience in Service Operations & Sales (within the industry preferred).
Computer skills required are - Lotus Notes, Word and Excel.
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license and be able to cover the assigned territory by motor vehicle.
Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria
Ability to read and analyze a Financial Statement
Advanced level in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products, Dealer Business System and other relevant Dealer software programs
Updating of Knowledge
Job requirements change requiring re-training to stay current every 1-2 years
