Our Education studio is seeking a Roofing Technician who is passionate about building performance and eager to develop expertise in roofing systems. 

In this role, you’ll support projects for colleges and universities across Virginia, contributing to the design, evaluation, and restoration of roofing systems and building envelopes. This is an excellent opportunity to build a specialized career while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative, technically focused environment.

What you’ll be doing:

· Support the design, detailing, and production of roofing and building envelope projects

· Participate in all phases of the roofing design process, from initial assessments and concept development through construction administration

· Collaborate with internal project teams, engineers, consultants, and clients to develop effective roofing solutions

· Work alongside industry experts on a highly collaborative and technically focused team

• Produce drawings in Revit

What you need:

• 2-5  years of experience, ideally in roofing
• Familiar with Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft 365
• A desire to work collaboratively with team members in a constructive and engaged manner
• Comfortable traversing roofs and climbing ladders
• Desire to learn the specialized trade of roofing
• The willingness to travel, as there will be travel required (mainly within a 2-hour radius).

• $58,000-75,000 annually depending on experience

While the range shown provides an overview of the expected compensation for this role, the salary ultimately offered will reflect the selected candidate’s unique qualifications, experience, and overall fit, as well as internal compensation practices and market trends.
