Job Description Supply Chain Analyst
Are you driven by data and excited to improve how supply chain performs at scale? Do you enjoy not only solving problems but also identifying improvement opportunities and turning insights into meaningful business decisions?
Then this could be a great opportunity for you!
We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst who combines strong analytical capabilities with a business partner mindset to optimize our end-to-end supply chain. You will transform data into actionable insights, identify the underlying business opportunities, develop scenarios and recommendations, and work with stakeholders to turn these into tangible improvements.
In this role, you will sit at the intersection of analytics, planning, technology, and business performance. You will work on strategic and tactical supply chain topics where the answer is not always known upfront. You will investigate what is happening, understand why, build the analytical capability needed to answer the question, and go one step further by translating your findings into recommendations, improvement initiatives, and potential projects.
Your role
You will work closely with supply chain leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across markets, acting as a trusted analytical partner rather than simply responding to data requests. You will translate complex business questions into clear analyses and use your findings to influence decisions and shape improvements across the supply chain.
Typically, you will be working on two or more high-impact topics or projects at the same time. These can range from tactical planning and supply chain performance to improving systems, dashboards and processes.
Your specific tasks include:
- Work on high-impact initiatives that balance service levels, availability and working capital, while proactively identifying improvement opportunities and translating them into actionable recommendations and measurable impact.
- Partner with stakeholders to support better decision-making in S&OP and S&OE processes, turning complex supply chain questions into clear insights, scenarios and practical solutions.
- Drive data-driven analyses to improve supply chain performance, including forecast accuracy, planning adherence and operational efficiency, while building analytical capabilities that help the business anticipate future needs.
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities in demand, inventory and supply performance to support continuous improvement, investigating root causes and going beyond the initial question to identify potential improvements and projects.
- Design and build dashboards, models and analyses that provide transparency and control across the supply chain and translate the insights into recommendations for business and senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with business and technology teams to investigate requests, validate findings, and turn identified improvements into concrete changes to systems, processes or ways of working.
Your team
You'll become part of our Supply Chain Excellence team, reporting to the Manager Supply Chain Excellence. The team consists of three Business Analysts based across the Netherlands and Poland, working closely together to support Supply Chain teams throughout Kramp's international organization.
Rather than owning fixed domains, the team works collaboratively, sharing knowledge and supporting each other across different analytical topics, dashboards and improvement initiatives. This means you'll have the opportunity to develop broad expertise while working with stakeholders from multiple countries and business functions.
The team is looking for someone who can operate with a high degree of ownership: someone who can take a business question, structure the problem, find the insights and proactively shape the solution.
As this is a group function, you'll collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across Europe.
The primary location for this role is Utrecht. We also expect you to be willing to travel to VSV, ideally around once a week or bi-weekly (this can be flexible depending on business needs). There will be occasions when your presence at VSV is required.
Who are you?
For this role, we have a few key requirements:
- Master’s degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience in analytics, supply chain, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business value and actionable recommendations.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, or Power BI
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- A proactive consultative mindset and, ideally, experience in a consulting environment or in a role where you have advised business stakeholders.
- Comfortable challenging the status quo and proactively identifying opportunities rather than only responding to predefined questions.
- Clear communicator who can simplify complexity and influence decisions through data, insights and well-founded recommendations.
- Able to move comfortably between detailed data analysis and the bigger business picture.
What do we offer?
At Kramp, we believe meaningful rewards help people grow, perform and thrive. Our reward package is designed to be fair, transparent, and competitive, giving you confidence and support to do your best work.
We offer an attractive salary €3,739.00 - €4,673.00 gross per month, based on 40 hours per week, depending on your experience and qualifications. The compensation package also includes an 8% holiday allowance on top of your gross monthly salary.
You can also count on:
- 25 vacation days and 12 ATV days (based on a full-time contract)
- Flexible working policy in hours and location
- Travel and working-from-home allowance
- Profit sharing bonus
- Great budget for training and development
- Attractive pension plan
