Program Manager Operations (m/f/d)
To support the continued growth and development of our European operations network, we are looking for a Program Manager Operations (m/f/d) to join our Operations Programs & Partnerships team.
As a Program Manager, you will lead strategic operational programs and projects that enhance our warehousing, distribution, and service capabilities across Europe. Working closely with stakeholders from operations, business, and technology, you will drive successful project delivery, manage organizational change, and contribute to operational excellence throughout the organization.

The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager Operations (m/f/d) to lead strategic initiatives that support the growth and optimization of Medline’s European warehousing and service network. In this role, you will manage complex, cross-functional programs from concept through implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with business objectives.
As a key liaison between operational and technical teams, you will drive change management initiatives, maintain business continuity throughout project execution, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our European operations network. Your responsibilities
- Lead and manage strategic operations programs that support the development and optimization of Medline’s warehousing and service landscape across Europe.
- Oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and business objectives.
- Own program planning, resource allocation, budgeting, governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain compelling business cases, including financial analyses and ROI assessments, while tracking benefits realization throughout program execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and successfully guide teams through organizational change.
- Provide hands-on support to local sites and project teams to facilitate implementation and ensure rapid issue resolution.
- Establish clear communication frameworks to keep stakeholders informed, engaged, and aligned at every stage of the program.
- Coach and support project teams on project management methodologies, tools, and milestones, fostering a structured and results-oriented approach.
- Organize and facilitate internal and external project meetings, workshops, and governance forums.
- Define, monitor, and report on program and project KPIs to drive performance and ensure successful outcomes.
- Proactively manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigating actions where required.
- Collaborate closely with Medline’s Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure projects are executed in accordance with established standards, methodologies, and best practices.

Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in warehousing, distribution, supply chain, or operations management.
- Proven success in program and project management within international and cross-functional environments.
- Experience leading large-scale operational change initiatives in a fast-paced business setting.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- A hands-on, proactive mindset with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to completion.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High level of autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience interacting with senior leadership.
- Fluent in English and German as a plus.
