Nail Technician

LaTresha Rená Salon and Spa is seeking an upbeat and organized Nail Technician to join our team. We are a high-end salon and spa that specializes in providing luxurious treatments to our customers. As a Nail Technician at our salon, you will be responsible for providing quality nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, and acrylic nail treatments. In addition, you will ensure a clean and safe working environment by sanitizing tools and maintaining a sterile environment. You will also be selling products related to nail care and taking payments for completed services. To be considered for this position, you should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be passionate about nail care. You should also be a team player, and be able to work flexibly in order to meet customer demand. Previous experience working in a salon or spa environment will be considered an asset. If you are passionate about customer service and you enjoy pampering and indulging clients with high quality services, then this is the job for you! Responsibilities Paint fingernails and toenailsClean, cut and shape nailsRecommend colors, rhinestones and designs based on each customer’s styleRemove previously applied polishPrepare and clean beauty station in-between appointmentsSterilize equipment before useInform clients about additional services and offers (e.g. loyalty discounts, eyebrow waxing)Give hand and foot massagesOffer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures last longer)Up-sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriateTake an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences)Schedule Management Clean & organizeAnswer phone/ respond to customers when neededParticipate in salon events Requirements Proven work experience as a Nail Technician, Manicurist or similar roleExpertise in basic and advanced nail techniques, including French manicures, airbrushing and gel manicuresKnowledge of cosmetology trendsUnderstanding of sanitation and sterilization standardsExperience in customer serviceHigh school diplomaCertification in Cosmetology or Nail Art is a plus
