The Technical Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network administration, system configuration, and cloud computing technologies.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization environments.Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance.Install, configure and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server to ensure smooth IT infrastructure.Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks and potential issues, and implement solutions to address them proactively.Manage and administer network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.Implement and maintain security measures to protect against cybersecurity threats and unauthorized access.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for IT infrastructure management and security.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA engineers, and IT support staff, to resolve technical issues and improve system reliability.Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and customers on IT infrastructure-related matters.Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the company's IT infrastructure.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and support, preferably in a software company or technology-focused environment.Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with server administration, network administration, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM).Proficiency with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).Experience with cybersecurity principles and best practices, including threat detection, incident response, and security compliance.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications in relevant technologies or IT infrastructure management (e.g., MCSE, MCSA, Azure, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CompTIA Network+, CCNA).Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and IT service management principles.Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and advancement.Dynamic and collaborative work environment.Company-sponsored training and certification programs. How to Apply:To apply for the Technical Specialist (IT Infrastructure) position, please submit your resume and cover letter to [email protected] or Gohire Portal https://app.gohire.io.
