Associate Engineer

Overview

Element has an opportunity for an Associate Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.  The engineer position must be proficient in a number of core business and technical skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

 

Responsibilities

• To carry out stack emissions monitoring, ambient air quality monitoring, soil and groundwater monitoring, noise monitoring and industrial hygiene monitoring

• Assist with planning and execution of projects

• Assist with report preparation for the maintenance and calibration of environmental department equipment

• Assist with maintenance of Health and Safety and Quality standards within a UKAS accredited 17025 quality management systems.

 

Skills / Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline
• Holds a valid Class 3 / 3A Singapore Driving License
• Relevant laboratory experience will be an advantage
• Ability to move physically between lab and sites
• Ability to work independently
