  • Lead or support corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methods such as root cause analysis, 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, PDCA, and 8D to ensure effective closure and prevent recurrence.
  • Support customer and service quality activities, including customer complaints, RMA processing, screening or rework coordination, quality reports, timely communication, and satisfactory issue closure.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report quality data and KPIs, including defect rates, yield, supplier performance, RMA rate, complaint closure time, recurrence, cost of quality, and audit findings, to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Support quality management system and document control activities, including controlled records, procedures, work instructions, audit readiness, and compliance documentation.
  • Participate in internal, supplier, customer, process, product, and quality system audits and support compliance with applicable ISO, UL, ESD, customer-specific, and third-party certification requirements.

  • Coordinate quality activities and communicate findings, risks, status, and recommendations with Production, Engineering, Material Management, Supply Chain, Service, customers, suppliers, and global teams, including periodic meetings with Taiwan or other APAC teams outside normal business hours.
  • Initiate containment and recommend the hold, release, or disposition of nonconforming material and product; escalate significant quality risks and recommend stopping or resuming production or shipment to Quality and Operations management.
  • Drive risk reduction and continuous improvement across supplier, manufacturing, inspection, service, and quality system processes; perform additional duties assigned by management or customers and travel occasionally for audits, investigations, qualifications, or quality support.
