FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the Backup Power Generation industry. We design and build backup power packages, including tanks and enclosures, for healthcare, industrial, and technology-driven customers that require uninterrupted power at all times. Job Summary

Material Handlers are responsible for the timely and accurate movement, staging, delivery, and organization of materials that support manufacturing operations. This role works closely with production teams, supervisors, and inventory personnel to ensure materials are available when and where they are needed while maintaining safety, quality, and inventory accuracy.

Successful candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of operating material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. These team members will help maintain an organized warehouse and production environment while supporting the flow of materials throughout the facility.

Essential Job Functions

Material Handling & Production Support

• Deliver, stage, and organize materials, parts, and components to support production and departmental needs.
• Move raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Verify materials, quantities, and locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with production teams and supervisors to prioritize material requests.
• Stock production areas with required materials to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing inventory in designated locations.
• Support inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory control initiatives.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and production areas.
• Follow established procedures for material movement and storage.
• Meet productivity, quality, and safety expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Equipment Operation

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
• Perform pre-use inspections of equipment and report any maintenance concerns.
• Utilize proper lifting techniques and material handling practices.
• Follow all company safety guidelines when moving materials throughout the facility.

Safety & Teamwork

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain punctual attendance and dependable work habits.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Support a positive team environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist other departments as needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or production support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to safely move, stage, and organize materials in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work overtime as needed to support business requirements.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Forklift certification or previous powered industrial truck experience.
• Experience supporting fabrication, welding, assembly, or production operations.
• Experience with inventory transactions and material tracking systems.
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse organization principles.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.

Working Conditions

Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with regular exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, dust, fumes, airborne particles, and other conditions commonly associated with industrial operations. Employees regularly work around forklifts, machinery, materials, and active production areas.

Work may be performed on concrete floors and may require navigating ramps, stairs, and uneven surfaces. Some duties may involve working outdoors for short periods. Required PPE must be worn at all times, and employees are expected to follow all company safety procedures.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
• Ability to frequently use hands and arms to handle materials and operate equipment.
• Ability to work around moving equipment and machinery.
• Visual acuity sufficient to read labels, inventory documentation, work instructions, and safety information.
