Description
Build Relationships. Inspire Generosity. Preserve Culture.
What if your fundraising expertise could do more than meet a financial goal? What if it could help preserve living cultures, strengthen communities, and support the future of New Mexico's 19 Pueblos?
The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC) is seeking a relationship-driven, strategic, and passionate Development Director to lead fundraising initiatives that advance our mission and create lasting community impact. This is an exciting opportunity for a development professional who excels at building meaningful partnerships, inspiring philanthropic investment, and turning shared values into tangible results.
In this role, you will lead efforts to secure philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, and foundations while cultivating relationships with donors, community organizations, tribal entities, and other partners. From major gifts and grant proposals to fundraising campaigns and donor recognition events, you will help connect generous supporters with the mission and priorities of the IPCC.
If you are energized by connecting people to a purpose, building sustainable fundraising strategies, and making a meaningful difference, we invite you to join our team.
What You'll Do
Lead fundraising and donor engagement by developing strategies to secure gifts and grants, cultivating relationships with donors and community partners, and identifying new philanthropic opportunities. Develop compelling proposals and fundraising campaigns, contribute to strategic planning, and coordinate donor recognition events and outreach initiatives that strengthen the IPCC's visibility and community connections. Maintain accurate donor records, track fundraising progress, prepare reports, and ensure thoughtful donor stewardship, confidentiality, and ethical practices in all development activities.
How You'll Make an Impact
Your work will help transform generosity into meaningful support for the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and the 19 Pueblos of New Mexico. By building trust, cultivating partnerships, and developing sustainable funding opportunities, you will help advance our mission and strengthen connections between our organization and the communities we serve.
