Venture Program & Operations Intern

Brainforest is a venture platform for nature. We back bold founders building nature ventures that protect and restore ecosystems at scale.

We're a passionate team of sustainability professionals, startup builders, and ecosystem shapers. Today, we run our Venture Program twice a year and actively work with 9 startups in our portfolio. We operate in a hybrid work structure (Zürich office + home office), value short decision paths, and foster a culture of fun, feedback, and mutual support.

## Tasks

**Your Role: Intern Startup Acceleration & Impact**

As our Intern, you’ll support our Venture Program and assist across operations and events. You’ll work closely with startups, partners and our leadership team, learning fast and contributing to meaningful work from day one.

This is a **6-month fixed-term paid position starting in August or September** ideal for recent Bachelor graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in the impact and startup space.

**Your Responsibilities**

• Support the day-to-day preparing and running of the Venture Program
• Collaborate directly with startup teams on operational tasks
• Help plan and execute events, pitch sessions, and expert workshops
• Take care of admin and budget support, including invoices and tracking
• Assist the team with ad-hoc tasks across partnerships, content, and logistics
• Support outreach for pitch events and scouting for new ventures

## Requirements

**You bring**

• A bachelor degree(e.g. business, environmental science, innovation, or similar) from a top-tier university
• Fluency in English required; German language skills are a plus
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
• A humble–confident attitude; you're driven, curious, and collaborative
• First experience through internships or student roles in startups, venture capital, consulting preferred
