Senior Program Manager, Health & Venture Innovation

What you’ll do:

This role will establish FedTech’s presence in Delaware, serving as the Senior Program Manager for a statewide health innovation program that supports early-stage health technology companies through acceleration, commercialization, and venture support. As the first FedTech hire in Delaware, this role will also build relationships across Delaware’s health innovation ecosystem and help shape how FedTech grows its presence and impact across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Ecosystem Development
  • Build and maintain a network of Delaware partners, sources, and collaborators to support program delivery, cohort sourcing, and follow-on opportunities.
  • Organize events and engagement opportunities that connect innovators, industry leaders, investors, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Represent FedTech at regional convenings, conferences, and partner events to build the organization’s credibility and visibility in Delaware.
• Program Leadership
  • Lead the accelerator program end to end for a cohort of early-stage health technology companies.
  • Oversee program budgets, fund administration, project scoping, and staffing, ensuring resources are managed effectively and costs are reasonable, documented, and compliant.
  • Manage day-to-day program operations and stakeholder engagement, including technical due diligence, program coordination, mentoring, guest speakers, and immersion experiences.
  • Lead the design and delivery of incubation programs for early-stage ventures, identifying opportunities to support commercialization in target markets.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives that improve program processes, systems, and operational efficiency.
  • Anticipate program and portfolio challenges, using data and insights to inform decisions and proactively address risks.
• Innovation & Venture Support
  • Contribute to the design, testing, and refinement of new programs and offerings, incorporating customer insights and continuous improvement.
  • Advise deep tech startups on business model development and commercialization strategies.
  • Participate in professional development to strengthen expertise in role-specific areas.

Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in innovation programs, accelerators/studios, startups, entrepreneurial support organizations, or healthcare innovation.
• Experience working with health technology, healthcare systems, public health, or related health innovation ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize client needs and align program design and execution with organizational and project objectives.
• Proven program management ability, including oversight of project-level finances, coordination of multi-phase initiatives, and organization of events in fast-paced environments.
• Effective communicator, experienced in leading meetings and delivering presentations on complex topics.
• Analytical and data-driven, using insights to support projects and inform decision-making.
• Hands-on experience with productivity, collaboration, and AI tools, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies. 
• Highly organized, adaptable, and growth-oriented, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to continuous learning.

Compensation: 

• Base salary range: $112-130k
  • The salary range listed for this position is based on market data and internal compensation structure. The final compensation package will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and education. This range is not a guarantee of compensation, and offers may fall outside this range in exceptional cases.
• In addition to the base salary, compensation includes performance based bonus (OTE)

Location: Candidates must be located in Delaware

Travel: 15-20% based on business needs
