Purpose of Job:

Perform accounting and financial analysis across a complex operational environment.  This position requires experience, knowledge and competency in accounting principles, practices and analysis.  Provide superior quality service to our customers.

Job Components:

• Prepare monthly account reconciliations for the following: Vendor accounts in support of cost of sales closing cycle, complex cash, support of fixed assets, monthly accruals, and various other accounts. – 50%
• Prepare, reconcile and submit into the financial system general, reclassification, and recurring journal entries. – 25%
• Provide financial analysis in support of monthly, quarterly, and audited financials. - 10%
• Perform multi-system inventory reconciliation and valuation adjustments on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. -5%
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules in support of audited financials. – 5%
• Research and complete special projects. - 5%
• Prepare check requests to transfer remittances to appropriate franchises. – 5%

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting
• 1 to 3+ years of professional accounting experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and terminology
• Understanding of law, statistics, and general management as it relates to accounting
• Strong organizational skills, attention to details and ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently but also capable of working in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, telephone, verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in the utilization of MS products (Excel, Word, and Outlook); Experience with Oracle/JD Edwards E-One is desirable

Scope Data:

• Interfaces with other IBSA functional departments
• Work independently

Work Environment:

• Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods of time.
• Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, and talk and hear
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 15+ lbs. during archival of data annually.
• Limited or no travel
• Overtime as necessary
