💜 ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our busy front desk team. This role is primarily based at our Imaging Queensland clinic, with occasional support at our Diagnostic Imaging for Women clinic located right next door.

You will play a key role in creating a welcoming, professional experience for patients booking and attending a range of imaging appointments, including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT and MRI.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, rostered between 7:30am and 5:00pm. No weekends.

📅 WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a key role in delivering a high standard of care and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly each day.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and checking in patients at the front desk
• Answering phones and managing email enquiries professionally and efficiently
• Booking, rescheduling and managing appointments using our RIS system (Karisma)
• Advising patients on examination preparation requirements
• Quoting fees and processing payments, including Medicare, private health funds, DVA and third-party claims
• Liaising with referrers, doctors and patients to support seamless patient care
• Supporting our clinical teams to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience
• Attending team meetings and participating in training and development opportunities
• Working in line with clinic policies, procedures and standards

• Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service in a busy environment
• Strong computer skills and confidence using digital systems, including booking software
• Comfortable learning and using medical terminology
• Professional presentation with strong communication and patient care skills
• A team player who demonstrates integrity, respect and professionalism
