Position Title: Senior Retirement Plan Administrator

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Retirement Plan Administrator to join their growing team of retirement plan professionals. This role will focus on managing all aspects of qualified retirement plan administration while providing exceptional service to plan sponsors and investment advisors.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling A–Z retirement plan administration and will work closely with clients to ensure their plans remain compliant with regulatory requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with plan sponsors, consult on plan design, and support a collaborative team environment within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate directly with plan sponsors and investment advisors regarding retirement plan operations and plan design.
• Prepare and maintain retirement plan documents including amendments and restatements.
• Review census data including eligibility determinations and Key/HCE classifications.
• Perform asset reconciliation for retirement plans.
• Conduct compliance testing including ADP/ACP testing, coverage testing, nondiscrimination testing, and annual additions testing.
• Calculate employer and participant contributions according to plan provisions.
• Prepare regulatory filings including Form 5500, Form 5330, and Form 8955-SSA.
• Assist plan sponsors with regulatory compliance questions and operational issues related to their retirement plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to plan administration activities.
• Collaborate with internal team members and advisors to ensure efficient and accurate administration of client plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in retirement plan administration.
• Experience handling full A–Z retirement plan administration preferred.
• Strong client service and communication skills with the ability to work directly with plan sponsors and advisors.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience using ASC and/or PensionPro software preferred but not required.
• ASPPA or NIPA designations preferred or willingness to obtain professional certifications.
