Description
- Manage MEP quality, safety and schedule on behalf of the owner, liaising with general contractors, consultants, equipment suppliers and regulatory authorities, and representing the owner professionally in all matters.
- Coordinate the delivery and factory witness inspection of OFCI/OFE equipment with vendors and procurement agents, verifying compatibility and compliance with project specifications and design requirements upon site delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the HV Supplier / DLO and GC/D&B Contractor, overseeing the execution of power distribution systems from substation to data modules and managing risks associated with power availability for commissioning.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning and energisation activities of SDCs & PMDCs in collaboration with the HV Supplier / DLO, GC/D&B Contractor and engineering teams, and support the CxA in the handover of installed MEP & OFE equipment.
- Work closely with design, civil, structural and architectural teams to ensure integrated project delivery, conduct periodic quality inspections and support the final project closeout and lessons learned process.
- Proven MEP management experience across the full construction lifecycle, ideally within data centre or mission-critical environments.
- Strong knowledge of commissioning, energisation and power distribution systems, including coordination with HV suppliers and GC/D&B contractors.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with contractors, consultants, suppliers and regulatory authorities.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, combined with a highly organised and detail-oriented approach.
- Field / on-site delivery experience and familiarity with OFCI/OFE procurement, factory witness testing and commissioning processes would be a distinct advantage.
