Rite-Hite is seeking a Corporate Communications Assistant to support front desk operations, corporate communications, and employee engagement at our corporate headquarters in Milwaukee.
As the first point of contact for visitors at our headquarters, you’ll help create a welcoming and professional experience while supporting building security and keeping the lobby organized. You’ll also play an active role in keeping employees informed and engaged through internal communications, digital signage, company events, and culture initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Reception & Visitor Experience
- Welcome and assist visitors, guests, and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage front desk operations and maintain an organized, welcoming lobby and reception area.
- Monitor visitor activity and help support building security.
- Issue visitor badges and maintain accurate visitor records through the visitor management system.
- Help coordinate meeting room setup and other HQ needs as requested.
Corporate Communications
- Create and post content for the corporate intranet to keep employees informed.
- Serve as a point person for intranet content, including reviewing and coordinating posts from other departments.
- Manage digital signboards throughout HQ and create announcements as needed.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar covering company news, events, and employee communications.
- Partner with other departments and locations to support their communication and signboard needs.
- Monitor and report on communication activity and site usage.
Employee Engagement & Events
- Support the planning and execution of employee parties, outings, holiday events, and other culture and engagement activities.
- Help coordinate event details, communications, and logistics.
- Assist with tracking and reporting on employee engagement and culture initiatives.
- Take on special projects that help enhance the employee and visitor experience.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional approach.
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with confidential information and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other common workplace applications.
- Strong writing and communication skills; experience creating employee communications or digital content is a plus.
- A team-oriented mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
