Job Description:
The Senior Resource Management Manager is accountable for enterprise-wide, global resource management across Veristat, including near-term resource assignments, longer-range capacity planning, demand forecasting, and workforce visibility. This role partners across Service Lines, functions, geographies, and other resource management stakeholders to ensure the right resources are aligned to client and project needs based on skills, experience, availability, timing, complexity, and delivery requirements. The Senior Manager monitors current and future capacity, uses project forecasts, backlog, and the sales pipeline to anticipate demand, identifies resource gaps and risks, and supports timely, data-informed workforce decisions. The role also establishes and drives consistent enterprise resource management standards, reporting, data quality, governance, and system adoption.

What we offer
· The estimated hiring range for this role is $142K -$160K plus applicable bonus. This hiring range is specific to the US and will vary for other regions based upon local market data. Final salary is ultimately decided upon taking into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to: skills and experience, licensure and certifications, education, specific location and dynamic market data.

What we look for
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 6+ years of experience in resource management, capacity planning, workforce planning, project operations, or a related discipline within a Contract Research Organization (CRO), biopharmaceutical company, or professional services environment.
- 5+ years of management experience required.
- Demonstrated experience managing resource and capacity planning in a services-based environment; experience supporting multiple functions, Service Lines, or geographies is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of clinical research and drug development operating models, project lifecycles, and the resource demands of a CRO environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to translate project demand, timelines, complexity, required competencies, specialized role requirements, and workforce availability into effective short- and long-term resource plans and assignments.
- Experience working in a deadline-driven, global environment with the ability to manage immediate and ad hoc resourcing needs while maintaining a longer-range enterprise workforce planning perspective.
- Strong analytical and data skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with resource planning, financial, project management, HR, or reporting systems; OpenAir and NetSuite experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across international, cross-functional, and matrixed teams, align stakeholders with differing priorities, and influence decisions without direct authority.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills, with demonstrated experience partnering with and influencing senior leaders on workforce practices, resource priorities, capacity constraints, and enterprise planning decisions.
- Strong follow-through, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities across the enterprise.
- Experience documenting, implementing, standardizing, and improving resource management processes, governance, planning standards, and decision frameworks across multiple functions or business areas.
