Area Sales Manager - North West UK

 

Seekers Search has been retained exclusively to recruit an Area Sales Manager to cover the North West UK for Blåkläder Workwear Ltd. The candidate will be ideally located near Manchester and will be required to spend at least 70% of their time prospecting dealers and end-users, so we’re looking for hunters, not farmers.

Blåkläder is a global leader in developing, producing, and selling workwear, gloves, and footwear that reflect its identity and heritage while maintaining its brand and ethos. Its products aim to make work life comfortable while providing unparalleled protection. As a company, they have been producing and selling workwear since 1959, initially on the Swedish market. They are now recognised as one of Europe's largest manufacturers of heavy workwear, producing approximately 4.5 million garments per year.

We are looking for someone who: -

•          Will deliver outstanding sales and support service
•          Is dynamic, flexible and motivated to provide outstanding service
•          Doesn't operate on a ‘9-to-5 mentality.’
•          Is a real team player
•          Is a self-starter with a real “can do” mentality?
•          Can strengthen existing relationships whilst always hunting for new business
•          Has strong networking capabilities
•          Is customer and solution-oriented, offering products and services as a total solution
•          Can negotiate to find a healthy balance between customer interests and our own
•          Will act as the point of contact for your dealers
•          Has practical experience selling directly to end users
•          Maintains accurate and detailed records on the company CRM
•          Can handle the stress and pressure of deadlines
•          Has excellent written and oral communication skills

Requirements of the role: -

•          Create demand with industrial end-users and support and grow distribution.
•          Grow sales by executing a push-pull strategy.
•          50/50 split of time will be spent with end-users and distributors
•          Must have a full UK driving licence.
