Job Description
What is the opportunity?
Are you a detail-oriented operator passionate about running engaging programs smoothly? The Employee Impact team within Sustainability and Impact (S&I) is focused on driving employee engagement in volunteering, giving, and programs that help RBCers make an impact in their communities. As a collective team, we execute the day-to-day processes that power Employee Impact Programs.
As Assistant Manager, Employee Impact Operations, you will be the operational backbone of the Employee Impact Programs team. Working within the Employee Impact team, primarily the Programs team, you will own the processes that enable the execution of employee volunteering, giving, and engagement programs. By managing these processes end to end and acting as a key contact for data and information requests, you will play a critical role in driving a positive employee experience and scaling the programs.
What will you do?
Application Processing & Program Administration
Support with reviews of Communities Together Fund (CTF) applications during peak periods.
Process daily Volunteer Opportunity uploads into myCommunity (Benevity) and coordinate with RBC Community Partner Relationship Managers on RBC partner Volunteer Opportunities.
Support the Senior Manager and Manager with Skills Based Volunteering program administration as required, including managing program planning meetings, material preparation and meeting follow-ups / action items, SharePoint site maintenance and access reviews.
Submit and track helpdesk tickets for system issues across CTF and other program platforms.
Support the Board Matching program by conducting pre-vetting of charitable organizations.
Manage the Disaster Response Giving Opportunity process.
Employee Experience & Communications Channels
Own the Employee Impact mailbox, serving as the single point of initial triage – tag and route emails to the appropriate EI team member and respond directly to routine inquiries, maintaining timely communications and navigation support for both global RBCers and Canadian retirees.
Own the myCommunity Connect site, including identifying opportunities to enhance the user experience and broader awareness of Employee Impact programs, and ongoing maintenance such as publishing / maintaining cover stories, news stories, giving opportunities, and reviewing and publishing non-grant related employee volunteer opportunities.
Financial & Compliance Operations
Support monthly charitable payment processing.
Conduct SharePoint attestations and maintain access reviews.
Reporting & Data Operations
Manage all regular and ad-hoc reporting needs to help manage our budget and demonstrate the impact our programs are having on employees and community partners.
Platform, Tools & Logistics Support
Manage onboarding of RBC Retirees onto myCommunity (Benevity).
Maintain program tools and toolkits (guides, key messaging, and templates) and streamline operational processes.
Support logistics for program sessions and events as required.

Must Have:
Strong project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
