Quality Engineering Technician IV - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division is currently seeking a Quality Engineering Technician IV - 2nd Shift. This position is based at our Westminster, MD location.

The hourly rate for this position is $32 -$37 per hour.

## What you’ll do:

The Quality Engineering Technician IV will demonstrate advanced technical expertise and increased responsibility while partnering closely with the Quality Engineering Manager and Quality Leadership team to support and enhance quality operations.

In this function you will:

• Schedule, coordinate, and conduct internal quality audits.
• Ensure timely closure and verification of all audit findings and corrective actions.
• Maintain and control quality documentation, including both internal and external documents, in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of End Item Data Packages (EIDPs).
• Coordinate the tracking, status monitoring, and location management of all in-house nonconforming material.
• Maintain organization and control of the Material Review Board (MRB) area, including the processing of material transfers and disposition activities.
• Manage calibration records and ensure calibration status is maintained within the system and on the production floor.
• Support daily quality activities, including generating production quality metrics, documenting quality issues, preparing customer data packages and certifications, and reviewing contract quality flow-down requirements.
• Participate in corrective and preventive action efforts, including data analysis, trend monitoring, supplier quality evaluations, nonconforming material investigations, training effectiveness assessments, and root cause analysis.
• Support customer, regulatory, and agency inspections, audits, investigations, and inquiries related to product design, manufacturing processes, and quality management systems.
• Serve as a backup resource for other Quality Engineering Technicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

## Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years related quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience with Microsoft office products.
• Previous experience using quality handheld tools.
