About the job

Alfa Laval is on the journey of a step-wise rolling out of Shared Services within the group. We have today 6 HR Shared Service Centers, spread across the globe, working with HR-related matters and providing the foundation for developing the HR related support for our employees.   To support this strategic direction we are implementing a global Time, Attendance and Absence management system across our international matrix organization.  

We are now seeking an experienced Global Project Manager to lead the implementation of a system - a collaborative professional who thrives in change and wants to make a real impact across our global HR community. 

This is a complex global transformation requiring alignment across regions, business units and functions with different operational practices, regulatory obligations, collective agreements, payroll requirements and levels of technology maturity. The successful candidate will balance global standardization with justified local requirements while managing dependencies across HR, IT, payroll, finance, procurement, data privacy and local operations.

You will establish the programme’s governance, requirements and implementation approach; coordinate system selection, process design, integrations, data migration, testing and regional deployment; and drive stakeholder alignment, change management and adoption. A central challenge will be navigating distributed decision-making and reconciling competing global, regional and local priorities without compromising compliance, payroll accuracy or operational continuity.

What You’ll Do:

• Participate in the RFP process and vendor selection process

• Drive end-to-end project delivery for global HR systems

• Collaborating with international teams and vendors

• Ensure seamless integration and compliance

• Manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations

• Report to steering committee when applicable

• Develop and drive Change Management plans throughout the project

• Have the authority to make decisions and manage the allocated resources, within given frame and budget

• You will manage very large project with high complexity or business impact, in accordance with Alfa Laval’s project methodology to reach desired outcome.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven leadership of complex, multi-country HR technology implementations

• Strong programme and project governance capabilities

• Proven experience in driving cross-functional HR System implementation project in a dynamic and global context, preferably from Time & Attendance & Absence system

• Ability to operate effectively within an international matrix organization

• Experience aligning global standards with country-specific legal and operational requirements

• Strong stakeholder management across HR, IT, payroll, vendors and business leadership

• A disciplined approach to risk, dependencies, data, testing, change and deployment

• Strong communication and leadership skills; decision-making will be key

• Ability to work across cultures and regions

• Relevant degree and certifications (PMP preferred)
