As a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart, you will lead the delivery of scalable, secure software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will drive the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment, while integrating advanced AI and machine learning components. What you'll do:
- Lead delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams, ensuring alignment with platform and business objectives.
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, efficient code across multiple programming languages and frameworks.
- Integrate AI and machine learning components to enhance software capabilities and innovation.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, and technical decision-making to ensure scalable and maintainable systems.
- Monitor application performance and support continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Mentor peers and contribute to engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in full stack software development with proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust and API development.
- Proven experience in in managing complex system architecture and scaling.
- Strong experience in code review, debugging, and delivering scoped features through iterative and incremental development.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices to ensure maintainability and modularity.
- Ability to integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools to enhance development efficiency.
- Demonstrated skills in solution design, technical leadership, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, automated testing, CI/CD deployment, and monitoring for high-quality software delivery.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
