Job Type: Full time
Shift Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-3pm and as needed per on-call
Salary: $25/hour

Summary
Lignetics is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to minimize equipment downtime. This position also supports preventive maintenance activities, scheduled maintenance outages, and general facility repairs.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
- Repair and maintain industrial production equipment to minimize downtime and support efficient plant operations.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and routine servicing.
- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and basic hydraulic systems as needed.
- Assist the Maintenance Lead or Manager with planning and preparing for scheduled maintenance outages.
- Perform minor facility repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and general building maintenance.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Communicate equipment concerns, repair needs, and maintenance activities to appropriate team members.
- Follow established safety procedures, company policies, and maintenance protocols.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training preferred.
- 1–5 years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and basic hydraulic systems preferred.
- Ability to diagnose equipment problems, identify appropriate solutions, and complete repairs.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, follow established procedures, and respond to changing maintenance needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work additional shifts and respond to on-call maintenance needs as required.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds without assistance.
