Job Description

As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Reception Operations in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, verify credentials, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting site procedures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, following sign-in and badging processes, and directing guests to appropriate contacts or designated areas.
• Answer incoming calls, provide general information, receive deliveries, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and support a professional, orderly reception area while maintaining awareness of activity at the entry point.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
