  • Partner with agency partners, creative teams, platform strategists, PR, and talent representatives to ensure all output ladders up to the overarching social strategy.
  • Direct hands-on production of social-first content, including talent and subject-matter-expert interviews, on-set creative direction, and social video shoots.

  • Identify and scale new opportunities to expand reach and influence.

Measurement & Performance

  • Review social platform and Adobe Analytics data to identify high-performing stories and the content patterns that drive audience growth and conversion to NatGeo.com.
  • Use data, insights, and social intelligence to continuously optimize strategy.
  • Establish clear success metrics that go beyond engagement to reflect impact.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Editorial, Strategy, PR/Comms, Paid Media, Synergy, and Partnerships teams to ensure integrated planning and execution.

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing team.
  • Set a high bar for quality, clarity, and execution across all work.
  • Build systems and processes that enable speed, consistency, and innovation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of the creator economy, creator monetization models, audience behaviors, and evolving platform ecosystems.
  • Strong campaign leadership experience, translating marketing priorities into integrated, platform-native social activations.
