Overview
Title: Human Resources Business Partner
Pay: $32.00 to $40.01
Location: Central Health Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine
Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. The system includes Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) in Lewiston, a 250-bed, not-for-profit regional referral hospital that is home to the region's only Cancer Care Center, an orthopedic ambulatory surgery center, and the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute. CMMC also serves as the central Maine base for LifeFlight of Maine, the state's only medical helicopter service.

Responsibilities
The Human Resources Partner provides support to department heads and employees to resolve employee relations issues. Will provide coaching and counseling to department heads in the area of employee training, corrective action/performance improvement, terminations, investigations, and employee complaints/grievances. Will serve as a subject matter expert on Human Resources policies, procedures and programs. Will conduct investigations on employee concerns, claims of harassment, hostile work environment, discrimination, retaliation, breach of confidentiality, etc. Will perform special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
2. At least two (2) years of Human Resources work experience handling employee relations and workplace investigations required.
3. Knowledge of state and federal employment law.
4. Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
5. Must obtain Sexual Harassment certification within 6 months, and then maintain biennially.
6. Ability to travel required.
7. Human Resources Professional Certification preferred.
Pay Transparency
Central Maine Healthcare Corporation offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $32.00 to $40.01. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
