## The group you’ll be a part of
The Document Control team, within Global Workplace Solutions, is responsible for managing workplace and facility data that supports space planning, occupancy management, workplace moves, and operational decision-making across Lam locations. We partner with Facilities, Engineering, Real Estate, and business teams to ensure accurate facility documentation, floor plans, and workplace systems that enable a productive and efficient employee experience.
## The impact you’ll make
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate facility and space information through the management, updating, and integration of AutoCAD drawings within the IBM TRIRIGA Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS). This position supports facilities, real estate, engineering, and operations teams by ensuring building floor plans, space data, occupancy information, and asset records are current, accurate, and aligned across enterprise systems.
## What you’ll do
- Update, maintain, and manage AutoCAD floor plans, site plans, and facility drawings in accordance with company CAD standards.
- Integrate CAD drawings with IBM TRIRIGA to support space management, occupancy tracking, move management, and facility operations.
- Validate and synchronize drawing data with TRIRIGA space records to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Create, modify, and maintain CAD layers, blocks, attributes, and drawing standards for facility documentation.
- Support the import, export, and publishing of CAD data between AutoCAD and IBM TRIRIGA environments.
- Conduct drawing audits and quality assurance reviews to identify and correct inconsistencies between CAD files and facility databases.
- Coordinate with Facilities, Real Estate, and Engineering teams to implement updates resulting from renovations, reconfigurations, and capital projects.
- Manage space classifications, occupancy assignments, departmental allocations, and related facility data within TRIRIGA.
- Develop and maintain documentation for AutoCAD and TRIRIGA workflows, procedures, and standards.
- Support system upgrades, testing activities, and data migration projects involving AutoCAD and TRIRIGA platforms.
- Assist with troubleshooting drawing integration issues and provide technical support to internal stakeholders.
In addition, this position will work with the Document Control team to:
- For lab, sublab, and office spaces, incorporate project close-out files into as-built documents including electrical, mechanical, piping (plumbing, process, etc.), process & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), instrumentation & control drawings (I&C), evacuation maps, fire riser maps, etc.
- Maintain a centralized document management system, including electronic document repositories and physical filing systems, to organize and store documents securely.
- Search file repositories and deliver requested information to stakeholders.
## Who we’re looking for
- Degree or extensive work experience in Engineering Technology, Architecture, Facilities Management, CAD Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing AutoCAD drawings in a corporate facilities, engineering, construction, or real estate environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with IBM TRIRIGA Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS), including space management and CAD integration functions.
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD. Experience updating building floor plans, space boundaries, occupancy data, and facility records.
- Strong understanding of CAD standards, layer management, block attributes, and drawing quality control.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to review and comprehend construction documents, floor plans, and technical drawings.
## Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of facility management, corporate real estate, space planning, or occupancy management processes.
- Experience with BIM platforms such as Revit.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, document control processes, and electronic records management.
- Experience supporting large-scale facility portfolios or manufacturing environments.
