As a Senior Specialist Customer Master Data Management in our Customer
Collaboration and Technical Marketing team,
you work hand-in-hand with our customers,
enabling them to transform our products into
cutting-edge designs, all while building long-lasting partnerships that thrive on success.
Are you in? Your role Key responsibilities in your new role 1. Data Creation, Maintenance, and Governance • Review,
validate, and process incoming requests for new customer master data creation
and modifications in enterprise systems (e.g., SAPERP, SAP MDG , SAP CRM,
Salesforce). • Ensure all customer data attributes (such as legal entities,
billing addresses, tax identifiers, payment terms, and hierarchies) are accurate,
complete, and properly formatted. • Enforce and uphold enterprise data
governance policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and data quality
rules while ensuring compliance with audit controls and data privacy regulations
(e.g., GDPR,CCPA). • Perform routine data profiling, data cleansing, and
mass-maintenance activities to improve data quality and eliminate redundancy. 2.
Project & System Support • Serve as the master data subject matter expert
(SME) on cross-functional business projects, system upgrades, migrations,
and mergers/acquisitions. • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT),
regression testing, and data validation activities for system enhancements and
new data capabilities. • Support the mapping, transformation, and
reconciliation of legacy customer data during system integrations or
implementations. 3. Year-End Change & Operational Peak Activities
- Coordinate and execute critical year-end data maintenance
activities, including calendar switches, pricing structural shifts, and credit
limit profile adjustments. • Manage bulk updates for year-end organizational
changes, such as fiscal updates, legal entity restructuring, and reporting
hierarchy resets. • Ensure high data accuracy and rapid turn around times during
seasonal peak business periods to prevent delays in customer billing,
financial consolidation, and legal reporting. 4. Customer Portfolio Support
& Lifecycle Management • Execute mass transfers and realignments of
customer accounts across internal portfolios, sales territories, and account
managers. • Manage complex customer hierarchies and relationship
structures (e.g., parent-child corporate relationships, ship-to vs.
bill-to accounts) to ensure correct sales attribution and commercial routing.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Finance, and GSD teams to ensure portfolio
definitions accurately reflect current go-to-market strategies. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,
Information Systems, Data Management, Finance, or a related field (or
equivalent practical experience). • Experience: 2–4 years of direct experience
in master data management, data governance, or business operations, specifically
focusing on the Customer domain. • System Knowledge: Hands-on experience with
major ERP or CRM systems (e.g., SAP MDG/ECC/S4HANA, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics,
or Salesforce) is highly preferred. • Soft Skills: o Exceptional attention to
detail and a commitment to data accuracy under tight operational deadlines.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex portfolio
restructures and year-end dependencies. o Excellent communication skills to
partner effectively with global sales, project managers, and finance
