Description
- Designs, creates layouts, and produces a variety of materials for digital and print platforms, including, but not limited to infographics, brochures, charts and diagrams, reports, web images, and social media visual content.
- Stays up to date with the latest visual communications/graphic design trends.
- Works closely with county communications team to understand the needs and wants of products.
- Follows visual branding/standards as needed.
- Coordinates printing services.
- Associate’s degree in Graphic Arts, Design, or a related field, or
- One year of job-related experience or training, or
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Graphic Arts/Design or a related field, or
- One or more years of job-related experience or training, or
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Latest Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge)
- Ability to sit, walk, talk, and hear frequently.
- Frequent use of hands/fingers for typing and operating standard office equipment.
- Occasional standing, bending, climbing stairs, lifting or carrying items.
- Minimal physical exertion; occasionally reaching above shoulders or working with arms above shoulder height, kneeling, stopping, crouching, squatting, pushing, twisting/rotating at the waist, climbing or working on ladders, and smelling odors from art supplies.
- Visual acuity to read computer screens and written documents, distinguish colors for artwork, perceive depth (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distance and spatial relationships), and adjust focus (photographs, etc.).
- Office environment, low to moderate noise level.
