We’re looking for Development Manager to join our ever-evolving TRANSAXpay Payments team to develop and support new systems and enhancements to our existing real-time transaction-processing systems, based on requirements obtained from customers and prospects and help shape the future of global commerce.
What you’ll own
- Development of new functionality in our core TRANSAXpay payments processing platform.
- Regression testing of systems to ensure new features do not affect existing functionality.
- Modernization efforts as we migrate from data-center-hosted to cloud-hosted services.
- As a Team Leader/Manager you will provide coaching and support of other team members.
What you’ll bring
- Minimum 12 years of experience as a Technical Lead or Manager, with proficiency in C, C++, DDL, SQL, and basic IP networking.
- The ability to translate requirements into well structured, bug free codes.
- Clear communication skills to effectively work with team members around the world.
- Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking to navigate challenges and resolve issues effectively.
- A proactive, accountable approach - taking ownership, acting early, and delivering great outcomes.
- To act as a mentor for more junior members of the team, engaging in peer reviews of designs and code.
- A genuine interest in Global Payments’ products and the wider payments industry, with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of the Payment Card Industry, specifically with EMV and UKCA (APACS) standards.
- Security scans, Snyk, Checkmarx, etc.
