Position: Electrical Planner
Location: Onsite (Local Candidates Preferred)
Summary:
Client is seeking an experienced Electrical Planner with a strong background in maintenance planning,
scheduling, and electrical systems within oil and gas, petrochemical, pipeline, or related industrial
environments. The successful candidate will possess extensive SAP experience and hands-on field
knowledge, with the ability to develop and manage maintenance and reliability plans, coordinate work
activities, and support operational excellence through effective planning and scheduling processes.
Job Duties:
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
• Plan and coordinate maintenance and reliability programs for facility assets.
• Develop, create, and maintain project, maintenance, and outage schedules utilizing planning
software.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and long-range look-ahead schedules for maintenance,
inspection, upgrade, and expense work.
• Prioritize work activities to ensure efficient execution, backlog management, and cost control.
• Coordinate work order development and scheduling activities with Operations and Maintenance
teams.
• Manage work dispatching and manpower availability in coordination with supervisors.
Work Management & Execution Support
• Create comprehensive job packs containing all required information, documentation, and
resources necessary for execution.
• Ensure all work orders are accurately documented and maintained within the CMMS system.
• Identify material requirements and coordinate with vendors and supply chain personnel to
ensure availability.
• Provide technical support related to CMMS modules and maintenance systems.
• Support maintenance execution activities through planning best practices and process
improvements.
Reporting, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
• Develop KPI reports and analyze schedule compliance, maintenance performance, and regulatory
compliance metrics.

• Analyze deviations, trends, and performance variations and present findings through graphical
reporting.
• Assist in developing, revising, and improving maintenance procedures and work processes.
• Recommend and support training initiatives to enhance maintenance effectiveness and
workforce performance.
• Assist with budget development and cost management activities as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.
Job Requirements:
Education
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical Degree or related technical training preferred.
Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience utilizing SAP within oil and gas, petrochemical,
pipeline, or similar industrial facilities.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of planning and scheduling experience in industrial maintenance
environments.
• Hands-on field experience required.
• Experience working within PHMSA-regulated pipeline facilities preferred.
• Experience with gas compression and metering equipment preferred.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
• Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA required.
• Extensive experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using Prometheus is preferred.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is preferred.
• Scheduling software configuration or development experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of maintenance crafts and activities including scaffolding, painting, insulation,
rigging/lifting operations, heavy equipment operation, welding, fabrication, machining, and work
estimation/planning.

Certifications & Licenses
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in

• Current, valid state-issued driver’s license required.
Work Schedule
• Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Limited overtime may be required.
• Onsite position, five days per week.
