Position Summary
The Corporate Accounting professional will support the accounting, close, and financial reporting activities for assigned Blackstone portfolio companies / investment entities within Revantage’s centralized service model. The role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to support high-quality finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for assigned entities.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and year-end reporting packages.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve reconciling items on a timely basis.
- Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders to support audits, compliance, and documentation requirements.
- Support debt compliance reporting, transaction assistance, and related accounting activities where applicable.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including tax, treasury, and portfolio reporting to ensure effective financial reporting and issue resolution.
- Contribute to process standardization, reporting quality, and continuous improvement initiatives across the accounting function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Relevant experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, audit, or controllership.
- Experience in shared services, multi-entity environments, real estate, or portfolio company structures will be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP preferred based on portfolio reporting requirements.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP / accounting systems preferred.
