Your Role
We're hiring a Solutions Consultant to join our Customer Solutions team, helping elite sporting organizations achieve peak performance by designing holistic technology solutions that serve entire departments rather than isolated teams. In this role, you’ll partner with global sports organizations to understand their complex needs, advise them on our Pro Suite offerings and guide new product innovations that directly impact how teams train, compete and win.
This role requires 3 days in the office per week, so we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in Chiavari, Italy.
As a Solutions Consultant, you’ll:
-
Guide pre-sales strategy. You'll partner with our College & Professional sales teams to identify growth opportunities, join key customer meetings and design high-performance workflow solutions that demonstrate the art of the possible.
-
Accelerate professional services. You’ll help shift customer mindsets toward solving big strategic challenges, using your deep industry knowledge to deliver high-impact solutions and share best practices across global sports.
-
Connect product and customer needs. You’ll listen to client challenges on the front lines, rapid-prototype new ideas and collaborate directly with our Product team to help shape the future of our Pro Suite roadmap.
-
Up-skill teams and clients. You’ll partner with Revenue Enablement to design training programs, onboard new sales reps and create customer-facing content like webinars and on-demand guides to drive tool adoption.
-
Build strong internal partnerships. You'll collaborate across Global Sales, Customer Success, Product and Operations to keep data up to date in Salesforce, track impact against our annual team plan and ensure smooth handoffs for Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers.
Must-Haves
-
SaaS and pre-sales experience. You have a strong track record of rolling out pre-sales consulting and defining professional services within a SaaS business.
-
Domain expertise in elite sports. You possess deep, hands-on knowledge of high-performance workflows across professional sports like global football, rugby or Olympic sports.
-
Pro Suite fluency. You're experienced with Hudl products, particularly our College & Professional tools like Hudl, Hudl Sportscode, Hudl Replay, Wyscout or StatsBomb.
-
A collaborative communicator. You can win trust with clients and internal stakeholders, communicate complex ideas clearly and present to executives with confidence.
-
A problem solver. You know how to analyze sales data, define success criteria for new initiatives and push through roadblocks to drive projects forward.
-
Willing to travel. You're open to regular travel to visit sales pods, meet with Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers ($50K+) and present at global events.
Nice-to-Haves
-
Tech and AI tech stack fluency. You're comfortable with Salesforce, Google Workspace, Microsoft applications and leveraging modern AI tools to streamline daily workflows and build insights dashboards.
-
Multilingual skills. You're fluent in English along with additional languages relevant to your regional sports market.
Our Role
- Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time above any required statutory leave, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
- Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
- Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
- Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech you need to do your best work.
- Support your wellbeing. Depending on location, we offer medical and retirement benefits for employees—but no matter where you’re located, we have resources like our Employee Assistance Program and employee resource groups to support your mental health.
Compensation
The base salary range and on-target earnings (OTE) for this role are displayed below. Typically, the total compensation will fall within the middle of the OTE band.
Our compensation decisions are based on an individual's experience, skills and education in line with our internal pay equity practices.
Final compensation will depend on your performance against quotas outlined in your Individual Sales Plan (ISP) upon hire.
Inclusion at Hudl
Hudl is an equal opportunity employer. Through our actions, behaviors and attitude, we’ll create an environment where everyone, no matter their differences, feels like they belong.
We offer resources to ensure our employees feel safe bringing their authentic selves to work, including employee resource groups and communities. But we recognize there’s ongoing work to be done, which is why we track our efforts and commitments in annual inclusion reports.
We also know imposter syndrome is real and the confidence gap can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates. Please don’t hesitate to apply—we’d love to hear from you.
